This is a 1970s Minolta Hi-Matic F 35mm film camera with a fixed Rokker 38mm f/2.7 lens. I think it is a 4-element Tessar-type lens. Made in Japan.

This one is clean for its age. The viewfinder is clear and looks to be almost free of haze. The rangefinder mechanism aligns perfectly at infinity; focus is smooth. The lens looks great with a blue coating. No fungus.

Bad news: I installed two of the 1.35 volt hearing aide batteries, but could not get the battery check light to illuminate or the shutter to work. Possibly I did not get proper contact because these are different shape than the original mercury cells.

Free to anyone who can use this nice little camera, but I'd appreciate a few $$ to cover shipping. (USA only, please).

If someone is looking to replace the Rangefinder beam splitter in their Kodak Signet 35 the one in this camera fits perfectly and gives a great RF patch in the viewfinder. It has a yellow tint and is very easy to see.
