Free download: Maizenberg's All You Need to Know About Design and Repair of Russian Cameras

Thank you! I already had a copy, but of poor quality (figures were chalk-and-soot). In this one the engravings are perfectly preserved.
Maybe, finally, I'll learn how to repair a focal plane shutter. And repair that Fed-2.

I bought a copy of the very last printing (rather expensive for what it is) and found it to not be incredibly helpful.

At least it has some good pointers in it, but don't expect a step-by-step, hands-on guide.

I think you have to get what you need from the books. This is of course easier if you already have some repair experience. Generally any information on the topic is useful to me.

Unfortunately, there are not many books on the subject of camera repair. Maybe we should write one here?

Thanks !

Thank you for sharing. I did not know the English version of the book was published. The original is here:
