In an unusual move (please don't shoot me, Mr. Moderator) I'm posting this info here in addition to placing it in another thread. I do it because of the very short time frame we have.
A friend in Boston has had some difficulty with a new landlord who is insisting that the entire floor where his darkroom/studio is located be vacated right away. He wants to avoid filling a dumpster and is willing to give away much of his stuff. Large, expensive items may require a small donation, but most just wants to be moved on to a good home. You have to make arrangements to pick up the material near Chinatown and be prepared to walk up a few floors. Believe me, it's worth it.
Contact me if you are interested, but he needs to do this thing right now. The landloard is talking about locking him out after Friday.
