I have some expired 4x5 film that was given to me and I haven't used it, so I'd like to pass it along.

There is some Tech Pan expired 06/2006 and it feels like at least half a 50 count box, or more, in there. The other is a box of Tri-X pan 320 expired 12/2003 but appears to be unopened.

While I haven't used any of this particular film, I routinely use expired film without a lot of issues.

If you are teaching and can use this in a class, especially a class for teens or younger, and I haven't given you something before, I'll send it to you for free in the USA. Obviously, you have to agree to use it for the class and not sell it or use it for yourself...

PM or EMAIL me.

As a lecturer of photography, may I say that out of date 5 X 4 film, or any size is very useful. If you fog it to white light, develop it and wash it, you can then, using a biro (works best) scratch the emulsion to make pictures for projection or contact. If you don’t want this, send it to me please, although I am in the UK and not the USA.

Very cool of you. I run a photography program at a youth shelter with 35mm film and have occasionally brought in my medium format system for the "aw factor", so I have no use for this, but it's great that you're giving it to a good cause. The cost of doing a photography program on your own dime is disheartening at times. I bet someone will be very thankful considering both types of film are on high demand (expired or not) and you could definitely be making some money off this.

I have a list of people who want this, so I'm sure it is gone now. It is a bit disheartening that so many photo classes are underfunded and can use this. Surely a hundred of you other guys out there have some expired LF film that you could contribute?

This is definitely gone and winging its way to a high school on the east coast.
