Here are the latest offerings of lenses to loan out. The 'rules' are pretty simple - you pay shipping both ways, try not to break them, and get them back in the mail by March 15, 2012. Most of these will also need $150 insurance. Because there is a time limit, these are for USA shipping only. Just started snowing and I'm low on bubble wrap, so it might take a day or two to mail these out... and I reserve the right to say 'no'.
I have one front mounted shutter that operates off a bulb and tube that I can loan out but it won't fit the extreme wide angle or the Stigmatic
PM or EMAIL please
1) CP Goerz Berlin Doppel Anastigmat (Dagor) f7.7, 180mm, has flange
2) Hawkeye Extreme Wide Angle for 8x10. Has flange; there is some crazing on one of the elements that I don't think will make much difference, but, you get to send it back anyway, so what do you care....
3) Dallmeyer Stigmatic #5; 9" focal length, probably good up to whole plate. Has some edge separation but not in the image area. It has a sort of retaining ring that might serve as a flange on a board
4) Dallmeyer Triple Achromatic; from early 1860's; 7" focal length; f9; probably for 4x5. A very old lens originally designed for copying
5) Rapid Euryscop f6; 8 1/2" marked for 1.2 plate. I got this one when I lived in Brisbane because it is engraved with a seller in Sydney and Brisbane. The barrel looks rough, but this lens takes great photos. I sold my Voightlander and kept this one. The flange barely fits and will need some blu-tak or something to keep the lens on there, but it should still make it easier to mount
6) Dallmeyer 1A Rectilinear wide angle; 5"; to wp coverage; Garrett (goamules) had a photo posted taken with a lenses exactly like this one.
7) Casket set with 15, 25, 35, 45mm elements. Various coverages up to 4x5 maybe 5x7. I have a sheet that gives the various resulting combinations for a different casket set, but should be close enough to get you going. Mostly, you have to experiment.
