I am part of a group in the process of setting up a Charitable Trust to commemorate Fredrick Scott Archer. He probably did more for the advancement of photography than Fox Talbot but as he chose not to trademark the collodion process he died a relatively poor man and is buried in an unmarked grave in Kensal Green Cemetery - all that will change next year. 0n 2 May 2010 the date of his death - we are trying to see if we can find his date of birth but no luck as yet!
