Fred Lustig bought out the Graflex and Graphic camera parts from Singer when Singer got out of the camera business. He was the one source for new old stock, however he would not sell the parts. Rather he would have the buyer send him the cameras for him to repair.

Sorry to hear this...

The private party seller from whom I purchased my like-new 4x5 Crown Graphic told me he originally purchased the camera new from Fred. He bought it for his son, who used it two or three times, then decided he wanted a Hasselblad instead (go figure!). The Crown was re-boxed and then sat clean and dry on a closet shelf for decades until he sold it to me. It redefined the definition of mint.

RIP, Fred.

He did the overhaul on an Ex Air Force Graphic View 2 for me a year or so ago. Wonderful gentleman. I will miss him. Like giving up a security blanket. A bit uncomfortable over his loss.

It is my understanding that he held a large portion of the Graflex parts stockpile. Since I am writing this almost two years after this death I am wondering what happened to those parts? Is there someone who has taken over his business?
