Not sure this I'm posting in the proper forum but I just picked up Issue 24 of Black and White Photography Magazine and visited one of the sites mentioned in the Webwatch section:http://fotographz.com/. I really enjoyed his prints but it was his bio that I found quite humorous. And I quote:
I prefer shooting in black and white, says Jackson, because it forces the viewer to look at the essence of an image... its form, tone , light , and shadow... instead of being distracted by the decorative effects of color. And also black and white film costs less.
