My wife volunteered me to gift a couple of prints to a friend who lives in Hong Kong. To keep size and weight down I would mount and mat them here and carry them to HK on an upcoming trip, where the friend would get them put into frames.

What standard frame sizes are available in Hong Kong? I assume they have A2/A3/A4, but are 14x17, 14x18, or 16x20 readily available there? I don’t especially care for the aspect ratio of the A-sizes (yes, I know it’s the same as 5x7) but don’t want to saddle our friend with the costs of custom framing.

There used to be a bit of "framing" in Macau which is close to Honk Kong but that was in 1952 and involved Jane Russell and Robert Mitchum🙂

Sorry it was just the first thought that came into my head when I read the title "Framing in Hong Kong"

I hope you get some useful answers
