I once saw a picture being held by a metal clip. The clip went around the glass, matt board, and backer board. All were held together with wire on the back. I'm looking to show some prints and would like to use this style mount.
Does any one know of a source or the name of this system?
Look Plak-Its at http://www.plak-it.com/ They separate the paper from the emulsion an mount it on a board with UV protection.
The best place to purchase Plak-Its is through John or Jason at

I mail them the photographs with the instructions. I call them before I send something. Then I call them when they receive the package and answer any questions they have. Then they call me when they have the total cost with the postage. Then I give them the credit card information.
...but I didn't do it, IIII waaan't near the cookie jar....
...or "I told you no more wire hangers"...
Anyway or was that anyways, I got some plastic wrap a round ones from Light Impressions about thirty years ago. They must be acrylic, they are very tough and durable. I like metal frames but placed behind glass on a ledge is a nice simple look too.
