Hello, got a big shipment of chinese films today. Both 120 roll film (shanghai gp3) and 4x5 sheet (era). Both are supposed to be similar to FP4 in developing. But I can't find times for FP4 with some of the developers I plan to use, but I can generally get info on FP4+. So, how big difference is it?

For instance, Era sheet film in diafine, what EI should I use? If I compare 35 mm FP4 and FP4+ it's 320 resp. 250. But sheet film FP4+ is 200. Hmm, what to use? Guesstimate on 250? With other developers I mainly use massive dev chart, but it doesn't list FP4 at all, only FP4+. Should I guesstimate it as a bit slower than FP4+?

A few hints and pointers would be nice.

The development chart has times for Shanghai GP3 and likely for Era 100 also. I just developed two rolls of GP3 in 120 today, 10:00 in PMK 1:2:100 at 20 degrees. The density is good.

For FP4 I have posted development times for Ilford developers in this thread:

(there was a url link here which no longer exists)

Mind it wasn't last Tuesday the original FP4 went out of production, so I'm not sure if they were referring to the original one. Just try it, you should work anyway on your EIs and development times.
