Well, I can't help you much, apart from saying that in the UK Harman Express is doing 20% discount today. And, no it isn't April fool's joke.
I just ordered 30.5m of HP5+ at pretty much the same regular price as Kentmere 400 and including free delivery.

If I had but one film I could use for all things I'd have to go with FP-4. It's been a great film since I started using it decades ago and for my eye it does it's best with Rodinal...1:75 if you please. Those two just seem to go together. A good example...

Thanks David. I ended up ordering RPX 100 (35mm) and Delta 100 (120). I'll be getting FP4 Plus during the next trip to the USA though - most likely later this month. You people from NA get these analogue stuffs lot cheaper. :D

Bests,

Ashfaque

Surely it can't be that much more in the UK.

The picture looks excelent. What developing time , temperature and agitation do you use for FP4+ ?

Best I recall it was 8 minutes at 68 degrees. Agitation was for first 15 seconds and then 3 slow inversions each minute.

Contrasty days I used Rodinal 1:100 for 6 minutes at ASA 64.

Thank you for the information. It sounds as a rather short time for 1:75 , but I will give it a try. After all it seems to work well for you.

The Rollei RPX films are very nice (& cheap), I think you'll like it! I've shot tons of it and love it, the only downside is that it's hard to try other films since RPX is cheap and good and I see no point in trying anything else.
