Fp4 developer

i just switch from Tri-x to Fp4 and still wonder which developer is the best for Fp4. as i read some articles, they said Iforsol-3 is the best. Any suggestion?

I'd say, keep using whatever you were using with the Tri-X. Otherwise you won't be able to tell which differences are due to the film and which to the developer.

FP4+ is a pretty robust film and seems to give people good results in all kinds of different developers anyway.

For FP4+ in 120 size, I've found that Rodinal at 50+1 or 100+1 is perfect for me.

I agree with this assertion. Change only one variable at a time.

And I see no reason to change from a film developer that has filled your needs with Tri-X. Over the years, my standard films have been Tri-X and FP-4.

Why did you switch? That may give you some hints as to what you want from a developer.

But I agree that, at least for now, staying with the same developer will be more instructive.
