I shot my 35 mm FP4 with 64 ASA, for developing in D76(1+1), but prefer now to develop this very one in Rodinal for some more power and sharpness. Is this still possible and do you have any suggestion about dilution/dev. times? Or is it an impossible combo? Yes, I know I should have experimented before or should do now. Greetings from Maarten, Rotterdam

Hi Maart, I was reading a thread and a very helpful person gave the following link
http://www.digitaltruth.com/devchart.html
All you have to do is enter the film type and developer and it gives you suggestions (yes, the combination that you are looking for is there: 1:100 dilution, 21 minutes, 20 degrees C. A wonderful resource that is now in my Favourites.
Hope this helps.
yours, boyd

Hello Maart, According to the Massive Development Chart FP4+ shot at 64 ASA can be developed for 21 minutes in Rodinal diluted 1+100 at 20C (68F). Hope that helps.

Rodinal 1:100 with one inversion and then stand for one hour at 68-72 degrees f. You won't have to worry about blowing out the highlights and you'll get amazing edge effects with your fp4. Make sure to give the film at least a 3 minute prewash. Also, make sure the tank solution is well mixed before pouring it into tank.
