I just won a disassembled C-3 on e-bay. Bellows is very nice and the body and track are good but the FP shutter is completely disassembled (arrived in several ziploc bags) and missing at least a couple of pieces from what I can see. Before I pull apart my working Anny to figure out exaclty what's missing and how to rebuild the C-3, does anyone know of an online source for FP shutter repair instructions. I'm just planning on using this one for display, but I'll fix it first if I can figure out how.
Thanks,
Dan

Thanks. That's a good link and the site has a lot of useful information on it. After a little research, I discovered there's a US War Department publication from 1944 called TM 11-2352 (Camera Equipment PH-104). $20 and a few days later, my nice hardcover copy arrived from Abebooks.com. In addition to some useful information on how to destroy your camera to keep it from falling into enemy hands, there's a huge section on maintenance with detailed exploded views of every part of the camera, shutter mechanism included. Now I just need to find a trashed Anny to use for parts.

So, just what are the recommended techniques for destroying a Graphic? I thought they were pretty indestructible....

How to Destroy a Speed Graphic

The attached photo is of the destruction notice page of the War Dept Tech Manual for the Speed Graphic. I'm entertained by how detailed this gets.
