Update: I found what I was looking for on the big auction site. Thank you everybody for participating.

I have acquired a few nice Vivtar TX mount lenses but all came with Minolta SR mount adapters. Now, I'd like to use these optics with my Nikons or possibly, the Pentax K mount.

Do you have a Vivitar TX mount adapter (with or without interesting lens) that you'd be willing to sell?

I had T4 optics--lousy glass.

Hmmm...that's nice.

No. I bought a 105 & a 200 back in '73 because they were highly rated by Modern Photography. They are sharp all over w/nice contrast, but the only good print they make is a digital one. They look optically deficient in a wet darkroom print. Cheers

Camera lenses don’t make darkroom prints. People do.

Correct me if I am wrong, but the lenses that Chip is referring to are T4 mount lenses, while Brad is looking for TX mount lenses.
Hope Brad finds what he is looking for.
Am never really sure what Chip is looking for.:whistling:

I have a TX Nikon mount around here somewhere.
Thinking it's attached to a 200mm 3.5 lens though.
I'll look for it this weekend and get back to you via a PM.
