Found this Hasselblad 500C suitcase at the family attic. Questions.

Koraks: I might think that this complete and historical " kit " might have more value than the individual components parted out. It would for me.

It looks like a kit with lots of items which could matter for collectors, and the lens barrels look really nice and clean.

1600 maybe, but why not higher?

Nothing like storage in an attic

Beautiful, probably needs a CLA, I see one of the backs is A24 220 back. Sure is pretty.

I would take the 1600 if I were you.The equipment is old but will mostlikely work. If given to somebody who is familiar with the Hasselblad V system, they will be able to make work what doesn't. I've seen Hasselblad equipment from the 50s and 60s and it still worked. not using it does the most harm. Oil and grease gums up over theyears and fine mechanics stop working. the lens shutter are likely to be affected first but none of this stuff is beyond repair. It's just getting harder every day to find good competent technicians but they are out there. To find them Photrio membersare your friend!

Great find! Go back to the attic and see what else is there that you may want to use.
