found Neopan SS (100) and Neopan 400 in my freezer

I just found a dozen rolls of Black and White Neopan 100 and Neopan 400 in my deep freeze from 2003.
It has been kept in an airtight plastic baggy at 0 degrees F and I wonder it it would
still be in good enough shape to use ? If it is, can I take it to Costco or Walgreens to
develop or does B&W require special processing? If not, then who could I pay to develop it?
I live in Atlanta, GA.

I have Neopan much OLDER than that in my Fridge and it is still GOOD -- your processors in USA mentioned will NOT do Black & White films - only C41 colour negative -- I can process B&W in 20 minutes for £ 1-50 a roll BUT I am in ENGLAND !!

As noted, it's probably fine. And, also as noted, almost all mini-labs do not process b/w film. But mail order is an option.

Your location (Atlanta) is in your post but you might want to update your profile on Apug with your location. You could also try asking on the (there was a url link here which no longer exists).

And check out localdarkroom.com for a darkroom in your area where you might be able to process the film.

It'll almost certainly be perfectly fine.

Developing B&W film is easy and much cheaper to do yourself than send to a lab...if you can make an instant cake from a recipe, you can develop B&W film.

While most of not all AUG users are likly to do their own B&W film, many of the larger Labs will also do it. A minilab will only do colour film, and if they attempt ot run B&W will at best producse a blank strip of film, at worst if the film can't stand the heat, a sticky mess.
