A number of stockists sell this product which, as I understand it, is normally used for masking part of a print when split toning.
Does it also act as a light mask i.e. a liquid dodger?
If not what available in the U.K. does?
It struck me that for small areas on a print, painting a liquid onto paper might be more accurate than any other method. Of course it would mean placing the red filter over the paper while painting underneath and I suppose that with red light, accuracy may be compromised.
Tim Rudman demonstrates what look like red transparent paper/film for masking in his book " Masters Printing Course" and I think calls it "opaque". I have never seen anything advertised which seems to be this material.
Thanks
