I have quite an amount of Fotokemika Varycon left in both matte and glossy since I switched over to ADOX MCC and Ilford MG IV.

Has anyone used the Fotokemika for lith printing and does it respond well? I just started using Fomatone warmtone MG matte with the Moersch SE5 lith kit and I like the results but don't want to waste the Fotokemika.

BTW is Fotokemika a chlorobromide paper?

Yes it does, very well in fact.

Go to the gallery and do a search for Varycon...

EMAKS is, but I'm not sure about Varycon. Varycon is a very nice paper, but doesn't tone well in selenium or sulphur toners without bleach.

The only combination I've tried so far is Fotokemika Varycon in Moersch SE5 and yes, it does lith quite nicely. But, from what I've been told by others here is that it is quite a slow developer/paper combination. The only image I have in my gallery so far is printed with that combination. The scan doesn't show it very well, but the print is a nice beige colour, unfortunately selenium toning completely took the colour out.

Hope this helps.

Varycon g does at any rate. I posted some shots in my gallery a few days ago. I was quite happy with the results.

Varycon liths very very well, but you have to play with exposure and developer temperature / dilution to get the most out of it. It also tones exceptionally well with a little bit of work.
The problem is that it's fairly inconsistent from batch to batch, so you never really know what you're going to get from box to box.
Example attached. After development the picture was bleached for a short period in dilute bleach, re-developed in a warm tone sepia bath, and finished in very strong and hot selenium toner.
