Are there any sites where people discuss 19th century photos? I see US Civil War sites that discuss Civil War photos, but no forums or places where individuals discuss specific photos or issues related to photos. Are there blogs that do this or forums?

My interest also relates to CDV albums. So many appear empty on Ebay, that I suspect that their contents are sold separately. On library searches, I see that they exist in collections at the Getty and University of Texas at Austin, but wonder whether there are any ongoing discussions. Does anyone have links to share?

Texas University was open public access with simple registration but you know Bush and later Obama , they closed lots of access , I think that era newspapers are still open to public , reading is better than to looking to dumb pictures , if you see one , all others are same. I followed from the preyears of war until the end. Website is very fast and letters are very sharp , I think they boosted the unsharp masking.
