Trying this again today... wrote yesterday how I had ordered an older Nikon FM3a, rather than a new Nikon d600 that I had been considering.
And yes, I know that digital is better - faster -sharper at 24 MP than my older 35mm film cameras. But after heavily using digital for five years -- at work and at home -- I'm going back to film. I'm retired now, so there's no time pressure to turn images around fast. Nice to be able to go slow... to think about composition and contrast. And, I'm glad I'm off the digital-upgrade bandwagon... sorry, Nikon!
