Is anyone using this combination? I'm looking for a starting point for my developing time. By the way: is this J&C 400 AND Bergger 400?

Thanks

Victor

Fortepan is J&C Classic 400 and the older Aristu.EDU 400, and maybe old Bergger 400 but not current Bergger 400. I don't have a time for it in PMK in my notes, but in most developers I've found the times for Tri-X to be a good starting point, and I've usually ended up with the Tri-X time plus about 10-15%.

Great; Thanks David. Very helpful.

One More question & maybe you know: Is the Tri-X time in the PF PMK data sheet (14 minutes at 70 shot at 260) for Tri-X 320 Pro or TX400?
I used it for some 320 last night and the negs look great but I'm wondering which they are referring to. Digital truth has 12 minutes for 400TX (shot at 320) at 68 degrees which would sort of make sense if the PF time is indeed referring to 320 Pro.

I use 14 min at 68 deg., EI 250 for TX in PMK. TXP rollfilm is probably pretty close to that.
