I'm wondering if some 4x5 sheets of Fortepan 200 with an expirey date of 1995 would still be usable? Its been refridgerated the whole time, but I honestly don't know how stable this film is with age. Anyone comment?

I'd (obviously) try it and see, but that would be in the full expectation that it would be usable, with nothing worse than maybe a tiny tweak in exposure and/or development.

B&W film can be amazingly long-lasting, particularly if it's been refrigerated (and, perhaps even more importantly, kept sealed and dry in the fridge).

It all depends on how it has been stored. There is no quick answer, you have to test it.

most likely it is still OK, maybe shoot it at 50 or 75 instead of 200...
some say 1 stop / 10 yuears expired ...
have fun !

I'd use a log fog developer for the first dark slide I would be more confident if it had been in a temperate climate house instead of a fridge.

Any condensation and you have a solid block...
