Hi,
I just obtained 2 boxes of discontinued Forte Fortezo.
On the box it says:
Glossy
Smooth Double Weight
Normal
Tropical
FN4
According to the data sheet this paper was available in special, normal and hard gradation. Searching around I also found Grade 2,3 and 4 as different way of typing.
So I assume that Normal relates to Grade 3? I did do a preliminary test, it seems to be a liitle bit harder than a print on Ilford MGIV RC at filter 2.5 (as far as you can really compare though)
So I am a little bit puzzled about this "Tropical" (extra hardened?) and FN4 code?
Anybody can shed some light on these 2 codes?
