Hasselblad Imacon Ixpress 528C 22MP Multishot (88MP) Digital Back (37mm x 49mm sensor) with Hasselblad Imagebank 1, Imacon Ixpress H series i-adapter, Imacon Ixpress V series i-adapter, long & short Ixpress cables, Fuji GX680 – V series (allows use of 528C on Fuji GX680 series bodies using V series i-adapter), sync connection leads (with spares) and 3x Batteries, charger and printed manual (£3100) All in Excellent Condition.
For those of you that are unaware the Imacon Ixpress 528C back is a 22MP multishot back with a 37mm x 29mm Sensor (slightly larger than 2x FF DSLR) and a 9 micron has a 1.1 crop factor when using 6x4.5cm lenses. The 528C can be used in three modes, single shot, 4 shot or Hasselblad's patented 4*Res, producing stunning files up to 528MB in size and like having an 88MP sensor. (Camera needs to be tethered and shooting still life shots for the multishot function to work). In the 4*Res mode (88MP), you can increase the resolution of the images by means of a unique multiple-exposure technique, which captures images at up to 4 times the sensor resolution (88MP). The module thereby enables images to be captured at up to a stunning 528 MB in size (non interpolated). With the 4*Res (patent pending), multiple exposures are taken to allow the entire CCD area to capture each color without interpolation, thereby providing maximum resolution and absolutely moiré-free images.
This back is still sought after by product shot photographers who want the better image quality available from a multishot back and do not want to pay the £28,000 for the new version.
The Ixpress Image Bank has a 40GB hard drive which can store up to 850 high res images. If the Image Bank is connected to a computer, it takes power straight from the FireWire cable, on the road, it uses a standard L-size Sony Type rechargeable battery.
i-Adapter: The Ixpress back attaches to almost all medium-format and large-format camera bodies using an interchangeable adapter plate, the i-Adapter.
