I have a Paillard Bolex 16mm movie camera for sale(made in Switzerland). A friend gave it to me awhile back and I will never use it. It appears to function fine. If you wind it up it clicks away for a little while. All three lenses seem fine, glass appears clean w/ no scratches or fungus etc. All in all, a very nice looking camera. The telephoto lens is a chrome Wollensak "Raptar" 3" 76mm f2.8. The other two lenses are F&B/CECO KINO-COSMICAR 12.5mm 1.4 and the other is 25mm 1.4. View finder also works good. I am told this camera will also do stills as for cartoons etc.
I am asking $175 plus shipping and paypal fees. I've seen these selling for upwards of $900 on ebay with original box and in minty condition. I've seen a good average used one like this in working condition going for $295 on ebay. I do think this works, as you can wind it up and it purrs away!
Note: There is a very slight ding on the lens hood of the Wollensak lens, which is a removable hood. The rubber eye cup on the viewfinder could use replacing someday. Other than that, this old camera just exudes class! Also includes The American Cinematographers Manual, a thick little book.
