Camera is still available - all functions work on the camera, light seals and mirror foam is fresh, lens is clean and clear - no oil, no fungus. Its a nice vintage Nikon F.

I wonder if the lens added any appreciable value to this particular transaction. In the weird world of collectibles, I am thinking that this lens would greatly increase the value of say, an FE body, but maybe had a much smaller impact on the value of this pretty little F.
I am curious what it went for as well. I got each of mine for significantly less than the asking price here, and one of them has the black finish. Maybe the newer lens and the standard prism added a bit of value. Still seemed high, though. If it hadn't, I woulda jumped on it!
I think Andrews price was quite reasonable, especially with a 1.4. The straight F's around Chicago have been around the $250 mark w/o lens and yes, the straight prism adds to the price.
What's a clean 1.4 worth $75-$100+ That makes the body $150ish.
