Sold For sale Lovely Leica 50mm f2 Summitar Screw mount lens uncoated with 10 round aperture blades

Hello,
As the title says, here is a very clean and lovely Leica 50mm f2 Summitar screw mount lens with front and rear caps. This is what i consider to be the more desirable uncoated version with the 10 aperture blades. The glass is very clean with No haze or fog and no cleaning marks. Might have a small bit of tiny dust and a small optical bubble in the glass just like most any vintage glass. The focus is smooth and the aperture is smooth. I bought this about a year ago from Jo Geier of the "Mint and Rare" camera shop in Wein Austria. I believe that Jo Geire is/was associated with the Leica Shop and maybe the well known Leica Auctions that happen there.
I have been on this forum for many many years, I have bought and sold some items while here with no problems in either direction. I have not sold anything on the big auction site for a while but I have been active on that site since around 2001 with 100% positive feedback.
price on this lens is $595 or reasonable offer. I will also pay the Paypal fee and ship for this same amount.

This is a beautiful example of an uncoated Summitar. NICE. Note the older aperture scale that extends to ƒ/12.5. I use a 1949 coated Summitar with the modern scale that closes to ƒ/16. The Leica Schule used to teach that below 1/4 of the focal length, you began to see degradation from diffraction. For a 50mm lens, that would be ƒ/12.5.

Some of the 50mm ƒ/3.5 Elmars closed to ƒ/22. Those may be the so-called Red-scale models.

Later macro lenses from Pentax, Nikon, etc., offered ƒ/32 for greater depth of field, but that was their main emphasis for photography of miniature subjects.
