Hello,

I am selling two items that are used on the Hasselblad 500c/cm, 501cm, 503cx, 503cw, camera bodies, namely a Zeiss Sonnar 250/5.6 lens and a Zeiss made T* Mutar 2x.

The lens for the Hasselblad is a Zeiss silver Sonnar 250mm/5.6-45 with a Synchro-Compur shutter, which includes front and rear original lens caps, and a protective black lens case.

Except for the slight scuff markings on the barrel surface, the lens is in impeccable condition otherwise. The glass is CLEAN, no wipe marks, scratches, no internal dust, no haze in the lens, no fungus or any other strange things inside the lens. The shutter works as it should; all speeds are correct, when I last used it. The shutter blades open and close properly, there is no oil or dirt on the aperture and shutter blades.

One of the characteristics of this lens is that it is sharpest when wide open, making it a superb portrait lens. The addition of a 32 extension tube allows you to get even closer if you want a tightly cropped portrait. Of course, with the 32mm extension, you have to add a full f stop.

$240.00 and postage from Canada. (insurance and delivery confirmation is a must)
Payment through PayPal. 2% for APUG.

The Zeiss T* Mutar 2x teleconverter is an optic that goes between the Hasselblad body and the back of the lens, effectively doubling the focal length of the lens and reducing the relative aperture set on the lens by two f-stops. Exposure time will be quadrupled

This Zeiss converter can be used on the Hasselblad 500c/cm, 501cm, 503cm, and 503cx.
The converter weights in at 420 grams

The converter is mounted on the camera in the same way as an extension tube or lens, everything must be cocked. First, the converter is mounted on the body and then the lens is mounted on the converter. You perform the opposite sequence to remove the converter.

A word of warning..... exceptionally, the 135mm Makro-Planar /f5.6 or the converter can be damaged if you try to mount the Makro-Planar directly on the converter; an extension tube must be inserted between the lens and converter. This lens is the only exception. All other lenses can be mounted directly on the converter.

This converter is in impeccable mint condition with front and rear caps. Everything is CLEAN.

$400.00 and postage from Canada (insurance and delivery confirmation is a must)

The lens and the teleconverter have been use sporatically on my Hasselblad, enough for me to realize that they are outside the focal lengths that I like to use, so they have been sitting on my shelf, unused.

Bonus: 10% off if both items are bought.

If you have any questions, please ask.

That's a great deal. That lens sold for around $3,800.00 when it was new. I paid $1,000.00 for a used one about 10 years ago. Adams used it for 'Moon Over Halfdome'.

From the literature I have read on the Internet and Zeiss`s take on the lens, the design is such that there is no degradation. Also , The Mutar will fit the older 500c chrome lenses, the 80, 130, 150, and 250. It will also fit the black T*, 100, 180 It will not fit the 50 Distagon since it is a retrofocus lens, and extenders and retrofocus do not make for good company. Also, the Makro-Planar 130/4 cannot be mounted directly on the Mutar, but needs a 32mm extension ring in between.
