Hi gang
this is a great lens in near mint condition - no fungus or scratches, with everything working as it should.
I bought it thinking it would (A) replace my 50mm macro lens, and (B) be a great alternative portrait lens to my EF70-200 2.8L IS.
However experience has shown that when I'm shooting portraits I tend to use a longer focal length lens (usually the zoom on the 200mm end), and to be honest I don't shoot much macro, so my standard lens or the 50mm macro (a Sigma f2.8 50mm which goes down to 1:1) serve me well.
What can I say - a bit of gear envy?
I guess I was hooked when I discovered the lens didn't change size through its entire focus range (it has internal focus).
It comes complete with original front and rear caps and a Canon soft case.
I'd like $425US for this lens as it's in near new condition (a good 9/10 at least - maybe even a 9.5?). This INCLUDES registered postage and insurance WORLD WIDE.
Payment via Paypal (or Direct Deposit if you are in Australia).
I think this is a very fair price considering the condition of the lens, and the fact that includes approx. $60 postage/insurance if you live in the USA or Europe.
And on the sale of this lens I'll make a donation to APUG. Thanks for looking!
