Hi Everyone, the photo closet is overflowing, and I want to sell more seldom-used equipment.
This is a Schneider 240mm ƒ/9 G-Claron lens for large format, mounted in a Copal No. 1 shutter. This is not the enlarging lens but the taking lens. It is very high resolution. I bought it from Mr. Kumar some years ago but have seldom used it. Carol Flutot cleaned and recalibrated the No. 1 shutter, and I will include her notes on speeds. The lens has some Schneideritis around the edges and some paint flecks. There may be a slight amount of haze at the very edges of the glass (it is hard to tell). My close-up photos always show all the dust. It is mounted in a generic Linhof Technica type of lens board, but I can remove the board if you do not need it. With lens caps. 52mm filter thread.
