That film does not build density or contrast the way a 'normal' film does.
@Andrew O'Neill did a very informative video post about it.
I have been trying to beat that film into submission for a while, using Rodinal and D-19, now using HC-110 Dilution B for a 20 minute development time.
Just dev. my 1st. test sheet film of Retro 320.
R09 at 27c / 1-25 / 5min
the test was for Hyper-focus f/64 30cm to infinity.
well it came out very grainy !! the contrast is flat !!??
so If anyone has worked with this film !??????????????????
Have you tried paper developers like Ilford PQ Universal?
It would help to see the negative as it appears to the naked eye, held against a backlight.ere is my 1st test & q-d scan
That's what this film is known for, but I don't think you're convicted to the kind of results you show above.well it came out very grainy !! the contrast is flat !!??
@Adrew O'Neill
just developed 3 test sheets used d-23 as I seen your test rodinal was it D-23 ?? so I tried with a [modified]d-23 && with R09
