Greetings!

This weekend I ran out of Fomatone VC FB Matte that I bought back in 2006 and had used sparingly until recently. I love the paper but didn't pay any attention to it being VC since all I have bought since are graded papers, which I prefer.

So, my question is this. What is the difference between Fomatone and Fomabrom other then Fomabrom being graded? Is there a noticeable difference to the creaminess. I'm not in a situation where it would hurt to change mid-stream. I want to order a box tonight.

Thanks Jeff, that's exactly what I needed to know. I just looked it up and the Fomabrom has a chlorobromide emulsion. I tried the Kentmere cholobromide paper once and only used one sheet I disliked it so much. Will stick with the Fomatone then and see if I can handle the changes to the new chamois paper as well.
