Hello all,

some of you have used Foma's RC papers, Fomaspeed Variant III to be more specific. The same papers are probably available under another name from Freestyle. Anyway, if you have a look at Foma's website, you'll notice that there are two different versions of RC neutral tone papers. The Fomaspeed Variant III and IV. Judging from the manufacturer's data, the later seems to have an emulsion without incorporated developers, which also has different spectral sensitivity. It seems that amber safelights can be used with the IV version. My question is, is it sold anywhere? Has anybody used it? Any opinions? All on-line stores seem to sell the III version.

I use this with an amber (OC) safelight just fine.

It's a nice paper. Don't let this potential source of confusion prevent you from trying the III stuff.

Oh, I do and I like the look of it. And since I use red safelights I don't have any fogging problems at all. My comments at the first post were done to show that it's a different paper. Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone has it in stock and if anyone has used it.
