Fomapan R100 reversal push processing

After having successfully developed 2 rolls of Fomapan R100 using the manufacturer's reversal kit, i would like to experiment a bit more and try pushing the next one.

Foma does not mention anything in the instructions of their reversal kit. As far as i understand i should vary the running time for the first developer, which normally runs for 12 minutes and another 5 minutes after the reexposure step (all at 20 degrees celsius).

Has anyone tried something similar? By how much should i extend FD time if i wish to shoot at E.I. 200 and push process +1 stop?

With reversal you won't find any predefined recipes for pushing/pulling - exposure/development tests are to be done. Slide film or negative - you want to target the developer. With slides it's the first developer.

Make bracketed exposures, cut the film in two strips and develop them separately. Extend the normal development time by 20% for the first strip, and see what's to be done with the second strip going from there. But do judge only dried slides, wet can appear less/more dense than it will be at the end.

Please keep in mind that push processing in reversal can increase base fog and thereby reduce DMax of the positive (see density curve of AGFA SCALA 200x Page 2). And any error in exposure will be relatively more disastrous.

I had an Adox Silvermax 100 (Adox Scala 160) exposed at EI 400 and push processed +1 by Studio13 in Frankfurt some time ago and it came out looking very nice. Some scenes could have benefited by an extra 1/3 stop of underexposure for better highlight control, but in general the result was very good with, maybe, a bit more grain. So i would expect that a one stop push would not be that bad, but Fomapan R100 may of course behave differently.
