Fomapan for alt processes?

Does anyone of you use Fomapan 100 for alt processes? I am curious whether it builds enough contrast. I was thinking of using it for my salt printing. Thankful for any tips, experience or pointers.

I use the 4x5 fomapan 100 for both silver gelatin and cyanotype/kallitype.
I like it and find it to print easily for me. Then again, these aren't the most demanding mediums.

I haven't tried the Fomapan 100, but I have done a LOT of work with the Fomapan 200, and it is terrific for alt processes. This image, and all the other palladium prints in my gallery from my Argentina trip, were done on Fomapan 200.

Can you share with us your usual EI and processing for this film when used for palladium? It would provide a starting point for others.

Certainly.

I soup my Fomapan 200 in Pyrocat HD, 1:1:100, Jobo Expert drum, slowest possible rotation, 11 mins @ 75f (that's what my dial thermometer says, but I think the thermometer is running hot - the thermostat on my Jobo CPA is set to 70). I shoot at 100.

Thanks for the suggestions. I bought some of the Fomapan 100 and I'll see if it works for the salt printing. I'll post my results in due time.

Please do post the results. With the probably demise of Forte papers, I'm beginning salt printing again and would like an alternative to Efke PL100 for my film.
