I've bought a box of Fomapan 100 in 4x5" yesterday. It'll take some time to arrive in the mail...

So I thought I would ask around here: does anyone here use it regularly? Is it really good? Any tips about this particular film (in this format)?

Thanks,
Flavio

I do. It's as good as any other film. Expose it at EI 50 and don't overdevelop it as it builds contrast fast. It's the cheapest sheet film and well worth the price.

As above, it only needs about 3/4 the dev time of other films. I use it and the Fomapan 200 in 120 and sheet film and it gives excellent results on a par with Kodak & Ilford films.

Thanks, miha and Ian, for the tips. It'll be the first film my new old Sinar F will see!

Glad to know its good. I've heard that Foma does coating/finishing for some other well-known brands. I guess I was just a bit too paranoid!
