Hi,

did anybody of you work with Fomapan 100 (4x5'') sheet film?. How did you expose and develop it? What were the results?

Yes I've been using it. I shoot at half the box speed and also it requires significantly shorter development times compared to other films. 10 mins @ 20°C in Pyrocat HD at 1+1+100 normal inversion agitation, Delta 100, 400, HP5 etc need 15 mins.

It's OK but I think I'll stick with Delta 100 and HP5 once I've finished my 2 boxes.

it's almost the only Lf film I use, and I have done it for years. love that film!

I expose it as 100 iso - develop it in HC110 dil B 21 degrees C for about 4.5-6min, depending on the motive..

It fixes really quick - a couple of minutes, and you can see the result (but I normally fix it for 5 min minimum..)

It is a great film, and perfect for my students also, as it is not nearly as expensive as other LF films...

your money worth - and more..

have fun!

like Ian said, half of the box speed, in Pyrocat HD 1+1+200, for 15 mins with 10 secs initial agitation and then for 5 secs gentle inversions every 5 mins at 21°C. I like it very much, but since this is my first sheet film, I have no base for comparison. I think I'll stick with it for a while.
