Hello there , what causes green developer when fomapan 100 120 spool , D76 1+1 ?

The anti halogen layer used by Foma for 120 and sheet film is a green dye. No harm to the developer.

Sorry to nitpick (and perhaps it was just autocorrect), but to be sure - halogens and halation are very different things.

It's also technically not a layer, but a dye embedded into a gelatin layer. The dye is soluble in water and thus washes out of the gelatin.

If you want to avoid developer being colored, do a prewash of some minutes. Normally I don't care since I use single use developer but it may be an issue if you want to reuse or have some concern.
