FOMABROM VARIANT III does it LITH?

I have some Fomabrom Variant 111 that was touted as being a good replacement for Agfa's MCC111 when I purchased. That statement not even being close, I was wondering if anyone had tried this emulsion out with a lith process or not? I know that other Foma papers lith very well, but not sure about this one. Now that I've been re-bitten by the lith bug again, I am trying to see what works or not. I did not see this emulsion listed on Tim Rudman's site and have not beeen getting the newsletters for a while... any ideas?

I tried it about a year ago and got really nice results from it. If I remember correctly, it was a nice combination of reds and browns, but I don't remember exactly.

Honestly, I've yet to find a Foma paper that doesn't lith well. The only one I've found that I didn't like too much was the Fomatone Classic VC Cream Fine Art Base Warmtone Chamois finish. Probably because it was touted as a good replacement for Kentmere Art Classic (which it isn't.) It did lith ok, though.

Foma papers tone and lith very well. Lith expert Tim Rudman use them a lot. Check his books and website

Variant 111 liths, but not as good as Variant 123 or all the other FOMA papers. 111 is VERY peppery in it's look.

The Fomabrom I've used does indeed lith, but it is very, very grainy. I've used it mostly for street photography, but I'll have to say, I prefer Slavich Unibrom for a neutral-ish lith paper. It is grainy, but not nearly as grainy as Fomabrom. I also found it a little more difficult to control as it has really intense infectous development.

Andrew, it works very diluted and exhausted. Very much ! And at least 30 minutes in the tray.
