Since Ilfobrom Galerie grade 2 is no longer available I have tried Retrobrom, which is rated as ISO (P) speed 200. However, I find that it is faster than Galerie, which is rated at 400. My initial impression is that Retrobrom settings are closer to a paper speed of 500–530. Given the data sheet information, I'm puzzled; please let me know your experience.

GH, I don't think it's a surprise. How many films of similar ISO ratings have different characteristics? Even if i compare a paper from a new box with an older box of the same brand, there are changes related to aging. It's too bad.... Ilford Galerie #2 & #3 are truly wonderful papers.
