Nice work Jon I just think the 2nd image is a bit flat there are probably reasons that I'm not familiar with.
Very courageous all the same with such a large format.

Thank you! I did overexpose these images. That made it difficult to scan them. It seems that the x-ray film is more sensitive in bright sunlight. Most of my previous images were made in open shade. I think I may have to go from the 80 ISO I used to something like 160 or 200 ISO in bright sunlight. I'll test that out.

I was not happy with the contrast of image #2, so I applied a curve in Photoshop CS5 to improve the image:

This one does not have an overall grey cast to it.....

I'm just scanning the film. If I print, I'm using my Epson 3880.
