Focus distance on RB67 180mm K/Ll?

Will the 180 KL focus closer than the 180 "C"? My 90mm "C" will focus very close but the 180 "C" is about 18-20"

It looks like my RB Pro SD with 180mm KL lens focuses to about 30+ inches from film plane.

According to Mamiya USA, the minimum focus distance is 43.3" (1,099 mm) and the maximum magnification is 0.26x.

Think of it as the lens not racking out far enough to get any closer. With the longer lens you would need more bellows to focus at the same distance.
180=180 minimal if any difference in closest focus distance.
Extension tube will get you there but with much smaller field of view.

Thanks John...I knew that somewhere in my skull full of mush but it did not occur to me that shorter lens would "typically" focus closer.
