Hello -

I've recently noticed a smudgy white dot appearing in my prints. There's nothing on the negs, nothing on the lenses inside the enlarger (it's a Leitz IIc). I suspect it's the lens, a Focotar. Anyone know if these lenses or enlargers are prone to such problems, or what might be causing the smudge, or what a guy can do about it? Thanks,

Bob

Hi Bob !
look at the lens under good light. It may be some dirt, fungus, or de-cementation of components.
To fix it, if there is a flaw, search for a good repairer near you ...
