Finally I have it - it took me some time to find it here in Poland.

Man, it is heavy! Man, it is sturdy! Oh, it looks so good!
Now on first occasion I will test it. I have Moersch eco developer, and also for the first time I will try Dektol ... life is good

Recently acquired one myself and have used it during about four printing sessions, now. Really a pleasure to use once you get the autofocus set. Previously used a Valoy II, which worked great but the V35 removes some steps from the printing process. Just turn it on and go. I've even been thinking about selling my Valoy II!

Did yours come with the red filter that goes below the lens?

Also, as far as Dektol goes, it's a fine print developer but it doesn't last very long in the tray. I used it for a long time, mostly out of habit, but have since moved onto LPD.

However, I don't use it muchnext to my Ic and IIc because of the subpar diffuser rendition versus the Condensers.

But I agree, the V35 is so easy to use!

Yes, dodging and burning, represented in a primitive way. Which is which is explained in the text, which admittedly wouldn't mean a lot to many outside Turkey. Most of it is burning, though.

NB23, are You sure, that Your are having a non modified V35?
V35 have a hybrid light source, not diffuser.
The hybrid light source is one of the features that makes V35 the ultimate tool for 35mm.

Here are the pictures. As you can see - red filter attachment is so fragile that it broke during transport. But I don't see that as a big problem , it will be fixed easily.

If you're developing negatives for use in condenser enlargers then, yes, you might not like the results coming from the V35 so much. But if you develop to a higher gamma for the V35, the results will be great.

...hey, Darko, did you manage to fix your broken red filter? If so, how did you go about it? Yup, I have managed to break mine in the same area - spoke to several people about this issue and it looks like a weak point in the design.

Curious, I have removed the red filter below the lens on my enlarger. Thought it was only useful for dodging and burning contact prints. What do you use the red filter for?

The red filter is used for b&w work whilst positioning the paper when cropping, or for adjusting the scale of the image to the paper. Of course one could do so with white light and a substitute paper...
