Dear all,

I am looking for the top and bottom glasses of the Focomat IIc's 6x9 negative carrier. I believe the top glass is ANR.

I recently relocated to Indonesia from Japan and this meant taking my darkroom with me. The Focomat IIc was shipped over with Fedex and was badly treated by Indonesian customs upon arrival to their facilities.
The well packed enlarger was unpacked for inspection and upon completion, the entire lot was thrown into the box and simply wrapped in tape before final delivery to me. Needless to say, I was in tears.
Other than the negative carrier, the condenser lens was destroyed and the lamphouse bent out of shape. I managed to fix most of the issues, re-finished the baseboard and through a good "foco-friend", I sourced a condenser which is about 90-95% clear so is useable. It is chipped in one corner but I believe it'll be useable once I manage to test with a 6x9 carrier.

If anyone has a spare IIc condenser they don't need and in good condition, I would be potentially interested as well.

The one thing missing (and keeping me from printing) is the negative carrier's glass surfaces. The carrier itself was bent but I managed to get it back to a workable form. The glass was shattered however, so they need replacing.

A few horror photos attached for your viewing (dis) pleasure.

If any of you have a spare set of glasses for the 6x9 carrier, I'd really appreciate the chance to purchase it.

WIth kind regards,
Ben

Damn that sucks. When I checked to see if I had any spares I realized I've been using plain glass for both sides on the IIB, and the AN top I should be using was in the drawer not being used. Hmmm. I have some plain glass spares for a IIB, (98x70mm) but not pristine and not sure if the IIB and IIC glass is interchangeable.

Hi. Sorry just saw the reply now, somehow I wasn't alerted.
I am not sure if the 2b and 2c are the same either but nevertheless I'll try to check this.
Do you happen to have an ANR spare as well or you only had the one?

Thanks a lot again,
Ben
