Thanks for the link! It was very useful for me as I am now looking for a tripod to suit my needs and am finding it difficult to settle on what I want. The FLM series looks great though.

Thank you, Rachelle; I believe there is now FLM distribution in Japan, but it is recent, so the distributor might not have all the answers you need.

Thanks Ari. It is possible to buy some FLM products here in Japan but I have yet to find any samples in any of the camera stores I frequent. In Tokyo that might be possible, but it's an expensive trip from Kyoto!
