Thanks for the link! It was very useful for me as I am now looking for a tripod to suit my needs and am finding it difficult to settle on what I want. The FLM series looks great though.

Thanks Ari. It is possible to buy some FLM products here in Japan but I have yet to find any samples in any of the camera stores I frequent. In Tokyo that might be possible, but it's an expensive trip from Kyoto!
