I have a moving box full of these. Is there an adapter that will allow me to use them with a standard PC connection or hotshoe?
I know they existed, but don’t know the search terms or model numbers.
Can anybody help?

What would be really cool would be the ability to burn two or more bulbs at a time, and perhaps burn them staggered, to create strobe effects with motion blur.

might be easier to just salvage some parts from a flea market instamatic and build your own.

Some kind of closure for prosperity:
No, there doesn’t appear to be an adapter for a hotshoe or PC connector.
There is an extender that will allow off camera and bounce flash.

But you’d still need to hack the connector.

The best way to use these other than for shooting 110 film, is probably on a 110 camera as trigger only in open flash mode.
But the use cases are pretty limited there. Lightpainting where you either wanted to catch the movement of machinery or have good IR output comes to mind.

What’s more it’s completely impossible to trigger more than one bulb without opening the cartridge to connect the bulbs in parallel, which would probably result in a pretty impressive flash.

Incidentally, does anyone know the guide number of one of the bulbs?

I’ve never seen an adapter to use flip flash on a hot shoe but they did make several for Magicubes.
